UPJOHN SPRINGS UPSET IN UNION TENNIS TOURAMENT

Defeats Debevoise in Singles Match by the Count of Two Sets to One

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Upjohn's service and the continual lofting of Debevoise into the net were largely responsible yesterday for a Union tennis tournament upset, Upjohn's defeat of Debevoise, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3. Debevoise seemed unable to handle Upjohn's service, either driving it ineffectively into the net or out of bounds. Both players lofted continually.

Two other matches of interest were Weisman's defeat of Glessner, 7-5, 6-4, and Martin's one-sided victory over Boone, 6-2, 6-1.
