The Harvard Dramatic Club will hold a meeting next Tuesday evening in the Faculty Room of the Union, open to all members of the University. The purpose of the meeting is to secure the names of all the men in the University who are interested in some branch of dramatic work and to give these men an insight into the activities of the Club.
Chief among the speakers will be Professor G. P. Baker '87, head of the 47 Workshop, who will speak on "The Club and Its Activities". Professor J. T. Murray '99 of the English Department will next be introduced by chairman R. C. Burrell '24, who is president of the organization. Professor Murray will speak on "The History of the Club". "Scenery and Designing of Sets" will be the subject of Professor Arthur Pope '01 of the Fine Arts Department. J. W. D. Seymour '17 will close the program with a speech on "The Production of the play".
The play, which has not been finally selected as yet, will be definitely announced next Tuesday night. On Thursday afternoon, October 25, the play will be read by President Burrell at a meeting in Paine Hall of the Music Building.
