CRIMSON PLAYERS TO OPPOSE STRONG SPRINGFIELD SQUAD

Coach Welch Expects Improved Attack From University Forwards

The Crimson soccer team will open its fourth game of the season at 4 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field against the Springfield College eleven. Defeated last year 4 to 2, the visitors are returning with a powerful forward line and a strong desire for revenge. Coach Welch will watch especially for an improvement in the Crimson attack, which, in the absence of Lamont, failed to function properly against Amherst last week.

The team line-up will not be definitely settled until immediately before the game although the Crimson's attack and defence will be approximately the same as that of the last game.
