The shifting of the date of the Harvard-Dartmouth-Cornell triangular track meet is one of several important rearrangements in the fall and winter track plans as announced yesterday by Brooks White house '25, Assistant Manager of Track.
As originally scheduled the triangular meet was to take place on the evening of February 23, but according to recent arrangements the date has been shifted to February 16. This change will also involve shifting the new indoor interscholastic track meet from February 23 to the afternoon of February 16th.
This year, for the first time, the annual fall open handicap track meet given by the H. A. A. for all members of the University, will be run in two divisions. The first meet, on November 1, will be for the track events only. The field events will not be run off until the end of November. This postponement of the field events was made chiefly to allow men who are now playing football to participate in these events. Medals will be given by the H. A. A. in each event of the meet, which is open to all members of the University.
Interdormitory Meet to be Nov. 29
The Freshman Interdormitory competition has been set for November 29. In this meet, both track and field events will be run on the same day, and the winning dormitory will be awarded five points towards the interdormitory trophy.
