Smith Halls Forms Jazz Band

Fifteen Smith Halls musicians answered the call to form a dormitory jazz orchestra Saturday afternoon, in Smith Halls Common Room, and gave Smith Halls the lead in beginning dormitory social activity.

Maxwell Davidson '27 is acting president of the organization and J. W. D. Seymour '17, head proctor of Smith and Captain R. W. Daniels are assisting in the formation of the orchestra. Further opportunity will be given for more to try out and if enough men report two orchestras will be formed.
