PUBLIC HEALTH SCHOOL TO HEAR PROMINENT LECTURERS

Dr. Leslie L. Lumsden, national authority on rural sanitation and Dr. Allan J. McLaughlin, assistant surgeon-general of the United States Public Health Service, are coming from Washington to lecture during the next fortnight in Dr. M. J. Posenau's course on "Public Health Administration" at the new Harvard School of Public Health. Their lectures will be open to the general public as well as to students of the School.

Dr. Lumsden, who originated the plan of field work in rural sanitation which is now employed by the Public Health Service, and has had wide experience in work of this sort, especially in the Southern states, will speak on "Rural Sanitation" on Tuesday and Thursday, January 9 and 11. Dr. McLaughlin, who served as Massachusetts state commissioner of health before taking his present position, will speak on "Public Health Administration from the Standpoint of the Federal Government" on January 16 and 18. Each lecture will be given at 4 P. M. in Building E. Harvard Medical School. No tickets will be required.
