MILHAUD, FRENCH COMPOSER TO LECTURE AT PAINE HALL

M. Darius Milhaud; one of the most prominent of the modern French composers, will lecture on "Modern Musical Tendencies in Paris and in Vienna at 8 o'clock Monday evening at Paine Hall, under the joint auspices of the Music Department and the Glee Club. Monsieur Milhaud will speak in English and will illustrate his lecture with various pieces on the piano. The lecture will be open to the public without charge.

When the Glee Club toured Europe in 1921 Monsieur Milhaud became greatly interested in its work. To show his high regard for the Club he composed and dedicated to the Club music for the 121st Psalm. This the Glee Club sang at several of its concerts last year.
