PROF. KITTREDGE TO ANALYZE "OTHELLO"

Professor George Lyman Kittredge '82, Gurney Professor of English Literature, will deliver the second of a series of five lectures on "The five tragedies of Shakspere" at 8 o'clock this evening in Sanders Theatre. "Othello" will be the subject of his talk tonight, and it is expected that Professor Kittredge will treat it by a critical analysis in much the same way as he dealt with "Macbeth" last Tuesday evening.

Since the series is provided for by the Dowse Institute, established for the purpose of supporting a course of lectures annually on literary or scientific subjects of a high order, admission is free but by ticket. These tickets were distributed at Phillips Brooks House last week, and the whole supply is now exhausted. Those who have not obtained tickets, however, may gain admittance at 7.55 o'clock when the doors will be thrown open to allow the public to occupy any unfilled seats.
