It was announced last night that the Directors of the Alumni Association, upon the recommendation of the Class of 1898, have elected Mr. Eliot Wadsworth '98, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, to the office of Chief Marshal of the alumni for Commencement Day next June. In addition to his present position, Mr. Wadsworth has held numerous posts of importance since his graduation, including the Chairmanship of the Executive Committee of the Endowment Fund, an Overscership of the University from 1916 to 1922, and the Presidency of the Alumni Association from 1920 to 1921.
