AGAINST INDEPENDENCE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Liberal Club, in announcing the Honorable W. Cameron Forbes as its speaker at an open meeting, is justifying its name. The service of Mr. Forbes as Governor of the Philippines and later as a member of the commission to investigate the question of independence, gives him the best authority to speak.
