ASSEMBLY NAMES NEW COMMITTEE FOR RHODES

Will Report at Next Meeting of International Body on March 13--"Ruhr" to be Discussed--Resolutions Adopted Have Been Sent to League of Nations

The committee of the Harvard International Assembly which is to report on "The Status of the Island of Rhodes" was appointed by the executive committee yesterday, and is composed of Joseph Lazzaro 1G., who represents Italy, C. S. Peyas 1G., representing Greece, and W. J. West 3L., representing Canada. This committee will report at the next session of the Assembly which, contrary to a previous announcement, will be held on March 13. The question for discussion at this time will be "The Valley of the Ruhr", and the nations which will be chiefly interested in the debate will be Germany, England, France, and Belgium. A new representative, Figurd Fjaer s. T. S., will sit for Norway at the next session of the Assembly.

For this meeting, the Secretariat will be glad to consider the application of any student wishing to sit for a state not yet represented.

The resolution of the Assembly which were adopted at its first meeting on January 10 have been sent to the committee of the League of Nations investigating the opium traffic.
