The Pierian Sodality Orchestra will begin its work for this year's program tonight at 7.30 when candidates will report in the Music Building for trials which will also be held tomorrow evening at the same time and place; those who have been retained will be announced Monday. Both old and new men will be required to report at the Music Building on Monday evening at 7.30 to start the regular rehearsals in preparation for a possible concert at Symphony Hall on Monday, October 9.

An eight weeks competition for the positions of assistant manager and second assistant manager will begin either tonight or tomorrow night at the trials at the Music Building.
