INFORMATION BUREAU ASSISTS 1500 STUDENTS

Fills Many Needs During 15 Days of Operation--Register System Brings Together Men of Same Schools and Colleges--Rooms Also Supplied

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fifteen hundred men made use of the Information Bureau of Phillips Brooks House this year according to information given out last night by Lawrence Rose '23, who directed this year's work.

The Bureau supplied more than 800 copies of the September 18 room list which included the names of 450 boarding houses. Previously the Burenn gave out several hundred copies of an earlier list made out on July 1.

During the 15 days that it was operated, in addition to furnishing information the Bureau supplied writing material to the men and maintained a baggage checking room. The register helped to bring together men of the same colleges, schools, and localities, and the roommate book was the means of helping about 100 men to find room-mates.
