The 1923 baseball season will begin on Monday, October 2 at 2 o'clock when candidates will report at the Locker Building for fall practice. This year there are many vacancies on the team due to the graduation of a large number of letter men, and as a result men trying out this fall will receive special attention from Coach J. J. Slattery who is worried about replacing some of his veterans.

Practice will last as long as the weather will permit, probably until the last week in October. Several games with teams in and about Boston will be arranged and a large number of men will receive a thorough tryout in preparation for the more serious work of the spring.
