Showing the best offensive drive and attack of any practice this season, the University eleven smashed through Coach Knox's scrubs for four touchdowns and a drop-kick yesterday afternoon in 30 minutes of fast scrimmaging.
Several changes from Monday's lineups appeared in the various elevens., In the backfield of team A. W. H. Churchill '23 instead of A. B. Harlow '25 replaced P. F. Coburn '23, who is still convalescing from a case of tonsillitis. P. H. Theopold '25 likewise was at tackle in place of P. B. Kunhardt '23, who is out temporarily with an injury.
Roscoe Fitts '23, George Owen '23, J. W. Hammond '25, and K. S. Pfaffman '24 each scored during the scrimmage. Pfaffman added an additional three points when he sent a 27-yard drop-kick neatly between the goal posts. Owen's touchdown came on a line-buck while the other three scores resulted from long end runs.
Following the scoring the scrubs were given the ball for a few minutes, but when they failed to advance, Coach Fisher sent in team B with W. P. Howe Jr. '24 at quarterback. K. N. Hill '24 and J. E. Kennedy '23 started at end; being replaced by E. D. Weatherhead '22 and L. L. Robb '25. J. M. Cooper '23, M. W. Greenough '25, and R. S. Hubbard '24 were all used at tackle. The guards were H. B. Wagner '23 and W. V. Miller '23. L. W. Post relieved H. W. Clark '23 at center.
