HARRIERS TO MEET TODAY

University and Freshmen Candidates Will Report at Locker Building at 3--Five Contests Scheduled

Mr. W. J. Bingham '16, coach for the last two years of the University track teams, will speak today at 3 o'clock at a meeting of candidates for the 1922 cross-country teams. The meeting, which will be for both the University and Freshman candidates, will be held at the Locker Building and will inaugurate the cross-country season for the year. Captain H. L. Pratt '23 will outline plans for the season which begins on October 20, when the University will meet Tufts.

Strong Nucleus for 1922 Team

W. J. Burke '23, captain of the track team, Captain Pratt, J. U. Harris '24, A. L. Coburn '24, and R. A. Lutz '23, all veterans of last year, will form the nucleus for the team this year. Burke, who won sensational victories last spring in the middle distance events in the Yale meet, is expected to be the University's strongest asset.

The schedule for the University team is as follows:

October 20.--Tufts at Belmont.

October 27.--Harvard, Dartmouth, M. I. T. at Belmont.

November 4.--Williams at Belmont.

November 11.--Harvard, Yale, Princeton at Belmont.

November 27.--I. C. A. A. A. A. at New York.
