STOREY CHOSEN TO LEAD JUNIOR CREW

Dr. Howe to Send Crew A on Initial Distance Test This Afternoon--First Eight Will Negotiate Course Alone

Following the definite announcement of the seating of the second University crew, Richard Cutts Storey Jr. '24, of Boston, was elected to captain the Juniors. He has not been available for the last few days due to a recent automobile accident, but yesterday he was able to row again at number 6 on the second eight.

Storey prepared at Groton School where he rowed on the eight for three years, being captain in 1920, and was at number 2 on last year's Freshman crew. He held an early season assignment at 4 on the first University eight this spring but was later shifted to 2 to make way for Ladd's substitution at the former position.

This afternoon, provided the weather is not too hot, Dr. Howe will send Crew A for its first practice spin over the four-mile distance.
