The membership of the committee appointed by President Lowell in accordance with the vote passed by the Board of Overseers on June 5, "to consider and report to the Governing Boards principles and methods for more effective sifting of candidates for admission to the University", was made public yesterday afternoon at the University. The following thirteen men have been appointed:
