UNIVERSITY CREWS ARRIVE AT RED TOP QUARTERS

Coach Changes Seating of Blue-Eights After Saturday's Practice -- Yale Squad Spends Day on Yacht

RED TOP, CONN., June 11, 1922.

The University crew squad, consisting of the first, Junior, and Freshman eights, together with coaches and managers arrived at New London at four o'clock this afternoon. The Junior and Freshman squads went from there to Red Top by train while the rest made the trip up the river by launch. Supper was served at the training quarters on arrival, where the Crimson shells and launches are all ready for service.

A schedule has been made out which will hold until the examination period is over. Breakfast at 7.30 o'clock will be followed by examinations from 8 until 11 and the morning row at 11.15. After luncheon at 1 examinations will be given until 5 in the afternoon when a light lunch will be served to the oarsmen preparatory to the evening workout from 7 until 8.15 o'clock.

Shifts Made in Yale Boat

Coach Corderry made several shifts in the Eli crews yesterday afternoon after taking both his eights for a short row as coxswain. The final seating announced is as follows:

Blue Crew.--Bow, Russell; 2, Sheffield; 3, Bigelow; 4, Rockefeller; 5, Spencer; 6, McHenry; 7, Haines; sroke, Ewing; cox., Thomas.

White Crew.--Bow, Whitney; 2, Cheney; 3, Leslie; 4, Pelly; 5, Ellis; 6, Goodwin; 7, Haldeman; stroke, Freeman; cox., Chase.

The entire Yale squad spent the day on a trip on Harry Payne Whitney's yacht, returning to Gales Ferry early in the evening.
