On the diamond and track, Princeton and Harvard meet today. The Orange and Black nine, "brilliant but erratic", is in Cambridge, determined to avenge last year's decisive defeat; the Princeton track team, on its own grounds and confident because of the victory over Yale, is ready to face the Crimson. Harvard men, cheering for the nine on Soldiers Field; will not forget the track team in New Jersey.
Last year Coach Bingham said, "Harvard can and must win"; and Harvard did-by a single point. This spring the prospects seemed far from encouraging-at least in the opinion of newspaper writers. But "Bill Bingham's men have fought as hard for success against great odds as any Harvard track team". Last Saturday Yale was predicted to win; today Princeton is.
