The first four events in the 1922 Invitation Regatta were held yesterday, with four more races on the program for today. No times were taken in the contests yesterday, which were entirely for singles and wherries. Today the first event is the one for Senior Singles for which the Manager's Challenge Cup is annually awarded, while two races for school fours and two trial heats for double sculls are also scheduled.
H. E. Feiring '23 and J. P. Whittal '25 were respectively first and second in the Novice Singles, the opening event of the regatta. The Wherry Race was won by J. O. Bangs '25 with Daniel Rockford 1L. second, while R. F. Brander '23 and T. M. Kodding '25 were the winners of the Compromise Race. E. D. Emerson E.S. was first in the Junior Singles with L. J. Moore Sp. second.
