The powerful Syracuse lacrosse team will meet the University this afternoon at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field in the Intercollegiate Lacrosse League series. the visitors, who were champions of the League last year, bring one of the strongest teams in the country. Although the University was beaten by both Oxford-Cambridge and Princeton, Syracuse won from the former 4 to 3 and the latter 5 to 2. Seven veterans of last year will be in the Orange line-up today.

With improved passing and a stiffer defence, the University shows markedly better play today than in its preceding games.
