The University baseball team will meet the powerful Springfield aggregation on soldiers Field this afternoon. Up till last Wednesday when the Springfield nine lost to the undefeated Brown organization, it had won seven straight victories, the power of the Red and white team being mainly in its hitting power.

Coach Slattery will use Gehrke in today's contest, as he wished to save Russell and Goode for the Cornell and Princeton games later this week.
