ITHACA, N. Y., May 13.--The Eastern intercollegiate Newspaper Association today passed the following resolution: "The undue prominence now given to football is contrary to the best interests of sport". In addition the following officers for next year were elected: President, W. G. Pierce of M. I. T.; Vice-President, O. P. Williams of Cornell; Secretary, C. D. Whidden '23 of the University.
