Yesterday afternoon the University second tennis team proved too strong for Exeter and won a 4 to 2 victory on the Academy courts.

The summary:

Singles, C. W. Farnham (H) defeated Smith (10), 7-9, 6-1, 6-4; Frost (H) defeated Pitman (H), 6-0, 6-3; Kleberg (H) defeated Perkins (H), 6-2, 6-1; Ross (H) defeated Dibblee (H), 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Doubles.--Smith and Rose (E) defeated Farnham and Frost (H), 9-7, 6-2; Kleberg and Dibblee (H) defeated Pitman and Collins (E), 6-3, 6-3.
