PRINCETON, N. J., April 26.--The Holy Cross nine defeated Princeton by the one sided score of 9 to 1 here this afternoon on the Tiger diamond. The visitors knocked Thomas from the box in the third inning by a succession of hard hits. The Princeton fielding likewise faltered at crucial moments, the team making in all nine errors, and hitting weakly throughout the game.

The pitching of Carroll and the heavy hitting of Simendinger, both of Holy Cross, featured the game.
