The CRIMSON wishes to take this opportunity to express its appreciation for the action which the Governing Boards of the University have taken in the matter of posthumous degrees for honorable service in the war. The University has shown admirable tact in adding to her roll of graduates these twenty-eight men who did not complete their college courses. Harvard is honored in numbering them among her sons. They have fought for her ideals and gladly given up their lives. This reward, slight though it is, will carry their memory down to future generations of Harvard men.
