CAPS AND

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"It appears that less than 200 members of the Senior Class have ordered their caps and gowns. Considering the fact that unless caps and gowns are ordered before next Saturday, they will not be delivered until some time in May, and that the success of the plan of wearing caps and gowns depends on having the custom begun on May 1 by all members of the class, this is not a promising showing. But there is time enough between now and Saturday for those members of the class of 1906 who have not yet done so to order their caps and gowns and so to prevent the class of 1906 from being cut off from the benefits of a custom which members of former senior classes have found to be one of the pleasantest features of the last few weeks of life as an undergraduate".--Editorial in the CRIMSON on March 7, 1906.
