UNIVERSITY WRESTLERS IN INTERCOLLEGIATES

The University's chances in the New England intercollegiate wrestling championships to be held against Brown, Dartmouth, and M. I. T., in Hemenway this evening at 7.30 and tomorrow at 3 o'clock, became considerably brighter late last evening when it was learned that H. J. Freedman '23 will be able to compete. Captain H. B. Walker '22 will not enter the meet on account of injuries, his place being taken by F. X. Collins '22. Morris Michelson '24 will represent the University in the 135-pound class instead of T. S. Whitman '23!

The pairings for the twelve preliminary bouts scheduled for this evening will not be announced until after a meeting of the four managers at the Harvard Club at 6 o'clock tonight where the drawing will take place. Since Dartmouth has no entries in the 115 and 125-pound classes, there will be only one bout in each of those two classes in the preliminaries.

The bouts tonight will be of 12 minutes' duration, Referee Arthur Mather of Boston making the decisions. In case of a question, there will be two extra rounds of three minutes each.

A fall at any time, whether in the preliminaries or the finals, will count as an additional point. No points will be given for winning a preliminary bout on a time decision.

Tickets for the matches on either day may be secured for 50 cents at the H. A. A. or at the door before the meet.
