Four University crews have been retained as a result of the work on the river last week. There has been no attempt to grade the crews except according to height and weight as was done last week, but some of the crews have a larger number of veterans than others. Captain Appleton has been shifted from stroke to bow and is now rowing on Crew S, stroked by R. C. Wolcott '22.
On Saturday all the crews rowed down as far as the Harvard Bridge in the Basin, at varying strokes. The cold weather hampered to a degree the work which had been outlined.
