The University wrestling team was beaten by the undefeated Yale team by the score of 16-11 at Hemenway Gymnasium Saturday. In spite of the fact that Yale was favored to win, the outcome was in doubt until the heavy classes were fought.

The most spectacular bout was that between J. F. DeWolf '22 and Captain Benjamin of Yale, who had been beaten only once before this season. De Wolf threw the Eli leader and remained on top by clever work for eight minutes and 18 seconds.

In the 175 pound class, Francis Rouillard had a slight time advantage in the regulation period but this was not sufficiently large enough to give him the decision. Therefore two three minute overtime periods were necessary. In these Rouillard finally gained a decision in the minutes and 18 seconds.

The unlimited class also went to overtime. In this match two football men, MacKaye of Yale and Benoni Lockwood '22, met, the Yale man winning by a time decision of one minute and 35 seconds.

The only Crimson fall came in the 125 pound class when H. J. Freedman '23 threw Young of Yale. Kronholm, the regular Yale representative in this class, was unable to wrestle because of injuries. Freedman won with a half nelson and bar hold in two minutes and 32 seconds.

The summary of the match:

115-Pound Class.--Thompson of Yale defeated F. S. Collins '22 by a decision in eight minutes 34 seconds.
