WANT CARS TO COLLECT CLOTHES

Region Around Boston to be Canvassed in Aid of A. R. C.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An opportunity has been offered to all University students who have automobiles to aid in the collection of clothing in Boston and vicinity for the American Committee for the Relief of Russian Children. The clothes collected in Boston are immediately sent to the headquarters at New York where they are sorted, fumigated, and shipped as soon as possible to Russia. There they are distributed by the Russian Red Cross among five million or more children who not only are facing starvation, but are in the most acute need of clothing. Last month 122,000 pounds of clothing were sent.

University men wishing to help in this work should either see Corliss Lamont '24, who, as Chairman of the Social Service Committee of the Phillips Brooks House, will be in charge, at Randolph 50; or telephone Mr. Holmes, Haymarket 1988, at 31 Mt. Vernon street, Boston.
