The second news competition for the CRIMSON open to members of the Freshman class will begin on Monday night with a meeting of all candidates at 7 o'clock in Room 5 of the Crimson Building. The competition, which will last until the end of May, will consist mainly of covering the news of the University.
The experience will give the men an opportunity to become acquainted with the student activities and their leaders, and to familiarize themselves with the college organization. Work on special articles and interviews forms an especially interesting part of the competition since the candidates will have a chance to meet men of prominence.
The work is necessarily difficult but sufficient time will be given for studying especially before the final examinations.
