Collection from "Fatherless Children of France" Book to be Withdrawn

It has been announced that the collection of sheets from the "Fatherless Children of France Book", which have been on exhibition in the Treasure Room of Widener Library since January 9, will be withdrawn in the near future. This collection consists of 350 original manuscripts and sketches by distinguished writers and artists of the Allied Nations.

The collection, which is valued at many thousand dollors, is in charge of the president of the Fatherless Children of France society, Mr. Saymour Legrand Cromwell '92, president of the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Cromwell and his associates are anxious to have the collection bought and deposited in a library where it will be preserved intact.
