The first of the season's University Teas will be held from 4.30 until 6 o'clock this afternoon in the Living Room of the Union. The teas will be open to all members of the University and will be continued on succeeding Friday afternoons until the mid-year examination period, with the exception of those during the Christmas recess on December 22 and 29.

The teas are given in order that the students may meet in a social way the members of the Faculty and their wives. To accomplish this purpose the Faculty has been divided up into six groups one of which will attend each tea.

The members of the Faculty and their wives who have been especially invited to attend the tea this afternoon are from the divisions of Music and Anthropology, the department of English, and the Administrative Officers.
