ELECT SNIVELY CAPTAIN OF FOOTBALL AT PRINCETON

Princeton, New Jersey, December 7,--A. B. Snively '24 was elected captain of the 1923 football team at a meeting tonight. The new leader prepared at Mercersburg Academy, and, when he came to Princeton, played on the 1923 Freshman team. His position till this year, has always been left end, and in this connection he figured in the famous triple pass to Gilroy which defeated Harvard in 1921. This year, however, Snively played guard, also forming the pivot of Princeton's effective passing game.
