FUNDAMENTALS STRESSED WITH BASKETBALL SQUAD

Prospects Appear Bright With Opening Games Against St. Michael's College a Week From Friday--Only Two Games Before Christmas

Coach Wachter's University basketball men have been drilling every day during the past week on the fundamentals of the game; dribbling, passing, shooting baskets, and catching the ball under various conditions. A large squad has been reporting regularly, and there seems to be ample material for a good team this year. No division has yet been made into teams, though Coach Wachter is watching the development of his men for new first string material.

The first basketball game of the University season is scheduled with St. Michael's College, for Friday, December 15, and will be closely followed by a game with Clark University on the nineteenth. No other games are scheduled until after Christmas.

In preparation for the contest with St. Michael's, Coach Wachter will pick a first and second team from his squad and begin intensive training at the beginning of next week.
