The Advocate's winter business competition, open only to members of the classes of 1925 and 1926, will start at 5.30 o'clock this afternoon with a meeting of all candidates at the Advocate House on Dunster street. At this time the method of conducting the competition, which is to last 12 weeks, will be outlined and the duties of the candidate will be explained. The work is necessarily exacting and will consume much time; ample opportunity, however, will be given for preparation for the mid-year examinations. The experience gained in such a competition is valuable, since the candidates will meet leading business men in Boston and New York while soliciting advertisements. The winner or winners will be eligible to compete for the position of business manager.
