DEBATING TRIALS TAKE PLACE MONDAY NIGHT

University and Freshman Candidates to Compete for Respective Teams, at 7 o'Clock-Date of Middlesex Debate With 1928 Changed

The trials for both the 1926 debating teams which will meet Ereter and Middlesex, and the University team which will meet the University of Pittsburg at Pittsburg will be held Monday evening, December 18, at 7 o'clock. The trials for the University team will take place in Harvard 5 and for the 1926 teams in Harvard 6. Candidates for both the University and Freshman teams will be asked to speak for five minutes either for or against the proposition: "Resolved, That the United States should enter into an agreement with the former Allied Nations for the mutual cancellation of Interallied war debts".

The Debating Council announced yesterday that the date of the Freshman debate with Middlesex has been changed from January 12 to January 17.
