The football reporters and sporting editors of the Boston papers gave a farewell dinner to Mr. W. J. Bingham '16 at the Lenox Hotel in order to express their appreciation of his unfalling kindness and consideration to them during his service as assistant graduate treasurer and head track coach. Mr. N. R. O'Hara '15 made a farewell speech and wished him luck on his voyage next Monday when he sails for Europe. This is the first time that any such mark of esteem has been shown by Boston newspapermen to a Harvard coach.
