The University wrestling season will open on Monday with a meeting of all candidates for the team in the Freshman Athletic Building at 5 o'clock.

Captain H. J. Freedman '23 and Coach Frank Judson will outline plans for the coming season. The first practice, consisting chiefly of a drill in fundamentals with the demonstration and practice of some of the simpler holds, will be held that afternoon. Six letter men will probably report.

Work will be pushed as rapidly as possible with a view to a tentative first combination before the Christmas Recess. Exhibition and tournament matches will be held for both University and Freshman squads with an additional system of weekly challenge bouts in order to give men on squads B and C a chance to become members of the team. Regular practice will be held five times a week, Freshman from 3 to 5 o'clock and University from 4 to 6 o'clock.

The schedule this year will include eight meets, beginning on January 19, when the Crimson wrestlers will meet Columbia in New York and closing with the annual meet with Yale on March 17 to be held this year at New Haven.

The complete schedule follows:

January 19--Columbia at New York (tentative).

January 27--Not filled.

February 17--Dartmouth at Hanover (tentative).

February 24--Norwich University at Cambridge.

February 28--M. I. T. at M. I. T.

March 3--Princeton at Cambridge.

March 10--Brown at Cambridge.

March 17--Yale at New Haven.
