With a varied record of victory and defeat, the 1926 soccer team will face the Eli yearlings on the Yale polo field, New Haven, at 9.30 this morning.
The Blue eleven has played but two games to date. After battling to a 2-2 tie with a local New Haven team, it journeyed to Princeton and defeated the Tiger cubs 1-0. In the latter game, the play was evenly contested, though Princeton lost a number of chances to score, while Yale took advantage of her only good opportunity. Milliken, Eli center halfback, was the outstanding star for the Blue.
The Crimson eleven has had a fairly good record this season, but has shown a weakness in failing to make the most of its opportunities to score. Captain Gray and Wright were the individual stars in the Tabor game this week and should be the mainstay of the Crimson attack today.
