In the semi-finals of the Ames Competition in the Law School last night, the Scott Club, upholding the case of the plaintiff-in-error in a question of implied promises and surety, was declared the winner over the Ames Gray Club.

R. P. Berle 3L. and H. F. Birnbaum 3L. spoke as the successful counsels for the plaintiff-in-error, defeating Guido Pantaleoni Jr. 3L. and I. J. Williams Jr. 3L., counsels for the defendant-in-error.
