THIRTY ELECTED TO PHI BETA KAPPA

New Members Will be Initiated--Judge Grant to Preside--President Lowell Will Deliver Chief Address

Thirty new men have been elected to the University chapter of Phi Beta Kappa by the members of the order now in college, and have been approved by the Phi Beta Kappa Graduate Committee, of which President Lowell is chairman. According to the regular custom, 40 Seniors and 12 Juniors were proposed for election, from which 22 Seniors and 8 Juniors were chosen. The names of the new members, arranged by classes in alphabetical order, are as follows:

Francis Ezra Bowman of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

William James Casey of Scranton, Pa.

Joseph Abraham Cohen of Fall River.

Gerald Garvey Dolphin of Scranton, Pa.

Walter Jay Fried of Lawrence, L. I., N. Y.

Holden Furber of Brookline.
