Mr. George La Piana, Instructor of Church History at the University, will deliver the sixth and last of his series of lectures under the auspices of the Lowell Institute tonight at 8 o'clock in Huntington Hall, Boston. The subject will be "Rome and Carthage in the Third Century. The Ecclesiology of the Roman Church". In the course of the lecture Mr. La Piana will outline the struggle in the Church against monastical episcopacy, with the ultimate formation of the so called classical doctrine in Christian theology which was to affect so deeply the social, political, and religious history of mediaeval Europe.

The doors of the hall will be open at 7.30 o'clock, and will be closed promptly at 8 o'clock.
