FRESHMAN SOCCER ELEVEN DEFEATS TABOR ACADEMY 2-1

Game Marked by Slow Play--Dawes Makes Lone Schoolboy Tally--Captain Gray and Wright Score for Crimson

In a game marked by rather listless playing on the part of both teams, the Tabor Academy soccer eleven suffered its second defeat of the year at the hands of the Crimson 1926 team yesterday, the score being 2-1.

The single schoolboy tally came in the first five minutes of play, when Dawes scored a goal from scrimmage. Near the end of the first half Captain Gray shot a long pretty goal that tied the score. The second half was uneventful until, with ten minutes to play. Wright added a second point to the yearling score.
