COACH FISHER'S FIRST AND SECOND ELEVENS IN DUMMY SCRIMMAGE

COBURN IN UNIFORM FOR FIRST TIME SINCE SATURDAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the practice yesterday, which consisted of dummy scrimmage between team A and the second team and later between teams A and B, the University eleven lined up with Jenkins and Holder ends, Dunker and Greenough tackles, Kunhardt and C. J. Hubbard guards, Clark center, Spalding and Lee alternate quarterbacks, Owen, Gehrke, and Chapin backs. Eastman was given a day off and did not dress for practice.

Buell was in uniform and followed the University team throughout the practice but did not actually get into the work-out at quarterback. Hammond substituted for Chapin in the team A backfield for a brief period at the end of the signal drill.

Team B lined up with Hill and Gordon ends, Hobson and R. S. Hubbard tackles, Miller and Tower guards, Bradford and Kernan alternate centers, Akers quarterback, Fitts, Churchill, and Rouillard backs. Pfaffman substituted first at quarterback for Akers and later at halfback for Churchill. Doherty was sent in for a short time in place of Rouillard.

Coburn was out in uniform yesterday for the first time since his injury last Saturday in the Brown game. Although he did not take part in the work-out yesterday, the coaches are still hopeful that he will be fit again by Saturday.
