BUELL PRACTICES FOR FIRST TIME

At least one shift in the line and possibly one change in the backfield of the University eleven will be made before the Yale game Saturday owing to the injuries which Grew and Coburn received in the game with Brown.

Grew, whose knee was injured, will be out for the remainder of the season, but it is possible that Coburn may be fit to play at least for a short time Saturday. Dunker, who played right guard on the Freshman team last year, may be shifted back to his old position to fill Grew's place. In that case Coach Fisher would probably use Greenough in Dunker's position at tackle. Although this change is being contemplated, it is more probable that Kunhardt will fill the vacancy left by Grew's injury.

Buell practiced with team A yesterday for the first time since the Princeton game. Owing to the rain; the work out was confined to the cage where Coach Knox's eleven ran off Yale plays in a dummy scrimmage with the first eleven. The latter team lined up with Jenkins and Hill ends, Greenough and Dunker tackles, Kunhardt and Miller guards, Clark center, Buell quarterback, Owen Gohrke, and Chapin backs. Coburn, Eastman, Gordon, Holder. Hubbard, Hammond, and Spalding were given a holiday and did not dress for practice.

Following the drill in the cage the squad went out to the second team field for kicking practice while Buell and Pfaffman went into the Stadium for a lengthy drop kicking work-out. The day's practice ended with a fast signal drill for team A.

Last evening 21 members of the squad accompanied by the University coaches went to see Eddie Cantor in "Make It Snappy"
