The two mural paintings by John Singer Sargent, honorary '16, are now in place and unveiled on either side of the entrance to the Memorial Room at the head of the main stairway in Widener Library. The pictures are in memory of the men who fought in the late war, and symbolize their arrival in France and their victorious achievements on the battle-field.
