The annual I. C. A. A. A. A. cross-country meet, the final event of the University season, will be held this year on the afternoon of November 27, at Van Cortlandt Park, New York. There will be races for both Freshman and University teams. This year, however, due to the fact that no cuts will be allowed on Friday, November 24, or on Monday, November 27, the University Freshmen will not be permitted to compete.
The strongest contenders for first place this year are likely to be Princeton, Cornell and M. I. T. Last year the meet was won by the Cornell harriers. The University team is somewhat stronger this year than last when it finished ninth, and with the help of R. A. Lutz '24, J. W. Burke '23, W. L. Chapin '25, A. L. Coburn '24 and Captain H. L. Pratt Jr. '23 is expected to make a good showing.
